It starts Friday with First Friday Art Walks in major arts districts and other creative areas of the city. It’s all about this season’s films, those who make them, star in them and just enjoy them during the 46th annual Denver Film Festival. There are 180 titles and a huge list of events, awards and celebrations. A schedule and ticket information is on Denver Film Festival on Facebook.

On Friday, it’s the Denver Art Society with Aztec dancers, traditional blessings, ofrendas, music, a best-dressed contest, food and beverages. The Summit County Latino community and its history is honored by the Town of Silverthorne on First Friday, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Summit Assembly event hall in Bluebird Market. Colorado Convention Center is filled with holiday gift ideas this weekend, 250 vendors, and one area, Interactive Vendor List, is smaller local and area businesses.
