Denver restaurant opens holiday-themed tiki pop-up
Colorado is known for being a winter wonderland during the holidays, but Avanti Food & Beverage will be opening a new pop-up with a slightly different take on winter celebrations. The pop-up, Avantiki, is set to open on Nov. 25.
The pop-up will include holiday and tiki-inspired cocktails, like spiked egg nog and boozy punch bowls, as well as hula dancers, Santa in a Hawaiian shirt, sand-laced snow, and holiday lights.
Operating hours will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, from 5 to 11p.m. on Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday and from 4 to 10 p.m. on Sunday. There will be a $5 entrance fee, a portion of which will go to Culinary Hospital Outreach Wellness.
Additionally, Avantiki will offer a themed snack menu from Amá Modern Mexican and Knockabout Burgers. Customers will also receive a free fernet piña colada shot before they leave.
Visit the Avanti website to make reservations, which started on Friday, Oct. 27.
