EXCLUSIVE — Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is accusing the Biden administration of “governing according to the principles of Cultural Marxism” through its sustained use of language encouraging “equity.”

Cruz writes in Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America, his upcoming book, of how Marxism has infiltrated facets of the federal government, accusing the Democratic Party of blurring the lines between the terms “equity” and “equality” in a way that has moved society away from its goal of achieving equal outcomes for all.

In an excerpt shared exclusively with the Washington Examiner ahead of the book’s Nov. 7 release, he points to an executive order signed by President Joe Biden soon after taking office that aims to address “entrenched disparities in our laws and public policies, and in our public and private institutions, have often denied … equal opportunity to individuals and communities.” He also lambasts the administration’s treatment of “equity” and “antiracism” as though “they are the highest goals of the American government.”
