Broncos to sign rookie cornerback Reese Taylor to practice squad
The Broncos have filled a vacant spot on the practice squad by agreeing to sign rookie cornerback Reese Taylor, a source said Tuesday.
Taylor will take the spot of linebacker Ben Niemann, who was signed off Denver’s practice squad last week to the 53-man roster.
Taylor was undrafted last spring after playing at Indiana for four seasons and at Purdue for a fifth. In his college career, he had 103 tackles and three interceptions.
Taylor was signed after the draft by Kansas City before being waived Aug. 29. He was added to the practice squad the next day but then released from the squad on Aug. 31.
