Suspects in Boulder Halloween shooting sought
Boulder police are looking for a group of strangers who tried to crash a party and intruded on a home on University Hill over Halloween weekend and shot at a person inside. No one was hurt, but a Boulder police spokesperson said that the bullet narrowly missed the alleged victim.
The party going on inside turned violent after midnight Saturday morning Oct. 28 when the group was turned away. Video taken from across the street showed around half a dozen people on the porch of the home in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in an argument with someone inside at around 1:30 a.m.
A fight then broke out and the footage showed people flying off of the porch, when a man got inside. A shot was fired which can be heard on the video.
Boulder police detectives are looking for four people including:
- The man seen in the video wearing red pants with a white stripe down the side.
- The man seen wearing a yellow tuxedo-like costume.
- The man in the footage with the white backpack.
- The woman with long hair.
The suspects left the scene in a dark grey or blue Saturn sedan, according to Boulder Police.
