This one is so much noisy fun: Tuba Christmas Denver. Usually the tuba professionals don’t get to be the stars, but this is their time. Two hundred musicians playing holiday music:  tubas, sousaphones, baritones and euphoniums. All together. Their horns are decorated and the musicians are, too. Four days and nights, seven shows for families at PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure, Bellco Theatre, 1100 Stout St. When Cap’n Turbot falls into a deep, dark cavern, PAW Patrol answers the call for a rescue in this musical Broadway-style production. Lots of fame around “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” when the Titanic went down and there’s Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum. But how about a Mr. Brown? Turns out he was famous as well and wealthy from mining, before a crash. Learn about him, too, at a book signing for “Gold-Fated Family: J.J. Brown Husband of Margaret ‘Molly’ Brown” by museum volunteer and author Jody Pritzl, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. And the house is decorated for a Victorian Christmas. Information: mollybrown.org

The sounds of the season will be floating through the mountain air during the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra Holiday Concerts, 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Christian Church,  27772 Iris Drive. Downtown Pagosa Springs is transformed into an Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. If you want to start the day earlier, there’s a 10 a.m. Ugly Sweaty Sweater 5k Fun Run/Walk at PLPOA Rec Center. After the downtown festivities until 8:30 p.m. a Winter Warm Up Laser Light Show.

The 120th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first powered flight is celebrated in a new Wings Over the Rockies exhibit opening Sunday. Ribbon cutting at noon. The exhibit includes the Wright Flyer simulator area and an original Wright K Propeller signed by Orville Wright. The Wrights’ first flight, Dec. 17, 1903, was 12 seconds long. WingsMuseum.org
