Where the good news shines

University of Colorado skier Will Koch made the most of his collegiate victory.

The senior dominated on his way to a victory in the men’s freestyle sprint race at the U.S. National Championship on Thursday at Soldier Hollow in Utah. The Buffs also took home Thursday’s team title.

Koch won each of the four races he took part in on the day, taking the best qualifying time by over 1.3 seconds over the entire field. He is the 186th skier in CU history to win a race.

The U.S. Championship continues through the weekend.
