Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles experienced outage statewide, resolved mid-afternoon

The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles experienced total or periodic outages affecting most services as a result of a technical issue Tuesday, the agency said.

Services were back online around 1 p.m.

The agency didn’t specify which technical difficulty shut down its services.  

The agency said affected services included the following: 

  • Online DMV services
  • Driver license and ID card services at state and county driver license offices
  • MV Express Kiosk services
  • County Motor Vehicle Office services
  • DMV call centers

The agency said there is currently is no timeline for when services would be be restored.
