George Santos mocks embarrassed House GOP: ‘Miss me yet?’

In just one tweet, ousted Rep. George Santos (R-NY) Wednesday highlighted the inability of the House GOP to get much done even with new House Speaker Mike Johnson.

As the GOP vote to impeach Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas failed last night, Santos tweeted, “Miss me yet?” It included a photo of the initial 215-215 tied vote.

Eventually, the effort failed, but only after Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) joined three no votes in a procedural move that will allow the Republican conference to bring the articles of impeachment back for a vote at a later time.

Some GOP lawmakers responded that, yes, they do miss Santos — or at least his vote.

Recall that Santos was kicked out of Congress by his own party in December after he was accused of financial misdeeds.
