Colorado city 2nd-best in nation in terms of ‘quality of life’

US News and World Report has released their annual ‘best places to live for quality of life’ report and two Colorado spots ranked high on the list.

Ranking the highest in terms of Centennial State cities was Boulder, ranking in second place overall. While Boulder’s ‘value’ metrics were scored at 5.3 of 10, ‘quality of life’ metrics were scored at a relatively high 7.7.

According to Zillow, the average home value in Boulder is nearly one million dollars at $958,651. While this home value is undoubtedly higher than many other places in Colorado, life in Boulder comes with easy access to outdoor recreation and a close proximity to all of the amenities of Denver.

Meanwhile, Fort Collins ranked 15th, with a ‘quality of life’ score of 7.2 and a ‘value’ score of 5.9.

Nationwide, Ann Arbor, Michigan ranked first.
