A return to seasonable conditions around the Mile High City to start Monday as it continues to snow in the mountains.
Denver residents can expect mostly sunny skies Monday, with a high near 52, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South southeast wind 6 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph
The winter storm warning expires mid-morning for Colorado’s high country, however, mountain snow showers continue today, though less in coverage and intensity as Sunday. Snow covered roads and blowing snow will remain a travel hazard today. Snow decreases this afternoon through this evening, generally from south to north.
Monday night is forecast to be partly cloudy with a low around 26 and northwest winds to blow between 6 to 10 mph, becoming east southeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
