VIDEO: Man says he’s been stuck on I-70 for 11 hours while playing ukulele to lift mood

Travel conditions are extremely dangerous in the most populated part of Colorado to start the day on Thursday, with up to 38.5 inches and counting (Thursday forecast here) falling on parts of the Central Mountain and Front Range regions.

It’s already been enough snow to close ski resorts and result in a massive power outage in the Denver area – and things won’t be getting better throughout the day.

As might be expected, travel around the state is rough. A large portion of I-70 has experienced closures from the Genesee area to Frisco (subject to change, find updates here) and elsewhere deep snow and slick conditions are creating a very dangerous situation.

In a rather shocking video published on the Boulder Colorado Instagram page, three people were spotted pushing a Subaru up Boulder Canyon. Meanwhile, another TikToker is posting while stuck on I-70 for what he says has been 10 or 11 hours – and playing the ukulele to keep the vibes strong.

Long story short, don’t travel in Colorado today if you can avoid it.
