Weekend tribute band shows pay homage to Van Halen, Pink Floyd, more in Colorado Springs, Denver

Culture’s most influential bands never die — they simply get the tribute treatment.

While some of the musicians in bands like Van Halen, Pink Floyd and The Beatles have ascended to that great recording studio in the sky, there’s always another musician who takes up the call to pay homage.

This weekend will offer a number of tribute band performances around Colorado Springs and Denver.

• Jump, an Ohio-based Van Halen tribute band, will do two hours of the epochal rock band’s David Lee Roth era Thursday and Friday at Boot Barn Hall at Bourbon Brothers.
