Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) traveled down to Palm Beach, Florida, to meet with former President Donald Trump for the first time since becoming speaker. They will host a joint press conference at 4 p.m. Friday.

The meeting, centered on election integrity, comes as Johnson has faced criticism from hard-right members of the Republican Party, notably Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), this week over his role. Greene is a close ally of Trump.
