Denver weather: Rainy and breezy Tuesday, with highs in mid-60s

Denver area residents can expect a rainy Tuesday morning prior to a breezy afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Showers are expected through mid-morning, mainly before 10 a.m., the weather agency said. Northwest winds will range between 13 and 23 mph, with gusts reaching 34 mph. The high is expected to reach 66 degrees.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low of about 44 degrees. Wind gusts as high as 30 mph should persist throughout the night.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Breezy, with a light and variable wind becoming north 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Thursday: A chance of rain and snow showers before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51.

Friday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 57.

Saturday: A chance of rain and snow showers before 11 a.m., then rain showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51 degrees.
