Sections of RTD E and H light rail train lines closed amidst maintenance

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will be suspending E and H Line trains April 23-26 for “necessary maintenance,” the department said.
RTD crews will begin replacing overhead wires at the Louisiana-Pearl Street station on the morning of April 23, causing impacts to both the E and H light rail lines between the I-25-Broadway station and Colorado station.
Starting April 23 and ending at the end of the day on April 25, E Line trains will run normally between I-25-Broadway and Union Station, and on 30-minute frequencies between Colorado Station and RidgeGate Parkway Station. No H Line trains will run north of Colorado Station and will run on 30-minute frequencies between Colorado and Florida stations, according to a press release from RTD.
Customers can transfer to the D Line to travel into central downtown instead of using the H.
Temporary bus shuttles will run the affected routes, picking up passengers at:
- Colorado Station – Gate C
- University of Denver Station – Gate B
- Louisiana-Pearl Station – Gate A2
- I-25-Broadway Station – Gate A2
More information about the specific suspension and other closures can be found on RTD’s website.
