Denver weather: Cooler temperatures Tuesday, with afternoon showers possible
Denver residents should expect cooler conditions with possible showers on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Denver.
Tuesday is expected to partly sunny with mild breezes and a high of 63 degrees, the weather agency predicts. There’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly after 5 p.m.
An overnight low of about 42 degrees is expected with wind gusts as high as 15 mph, according to NWS.

Thursday: A chance of showers between noon and 3 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Breezy, with a southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday: A slight chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Saturday: Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56.
