Bakery Four finds its stride in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood
Shawn Bergin and his wife moved to Denver from the Washington D.C. life in part due to Colorado’s cottage bakery laws—Colorado, unlike many states, allows home bakers to keep their dogs. Now Bergin says Denver feels, “right and we haven’t looked back.” Bakery Four started in Bergin’s basement, slowly expanding to neighborhood popups, a coffee shop and more before opening their own storefront a couple years ago.
