Denver is forecast for afternoon thunderstorms Wednesday alongside highs in the upper 60s, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. 

Expect partly sunny skies and a high of 68 degrees. There’s a 60% chance of showers in the forecast Wednesday afternoon. Winds are anticipated to range between 8 and 13 mph, reaching upwards of 21 mph. 

Rain and storms are expected to continue into tonight, with a 50% chance of showers in the forecast through midnight. Expect cloudy skies and a low of 46 degrees.

Temps will climb into the 70s Thursday before shooting into the 80s Friday with a projected beautiful weekend ahead.
