Blue Moon Brewing Co. of Denver is pairing ‘boozy ice cream’ with mini baseball helmets for baseball fans — including your Colorado Rockies — to enjoy, but only for a limited time.

However, the alcohol-infused ice cream could also potentially be served it at its RiNo brewery north of Coors Field after the online launch, with confirmation still pending.

Blue Moon teamed up with Hardscoop to create “Home Run Twist”, an alcohol-infused ice cream with 2% ABV, combining bright and citrusy flavors from Blue Moon’s Valencia orange peel with Madagascar vanilla, a spokesperson for Blue Moon said.

Furthermore, each pint comes equipped with a limited-edition Blue Moon x Rawlings mini helmet to serve and eat the ice cream from.

“Blue Moon is brightening this baseball season by giving fans a chance to experience the joy of ice cream in a helmet at home for fans 21+,” Courtney Benedict, VP of Marketing for Above Premium Beer at Molson Coors, said. “Rawlings is the perfect partner for us to bring this to life since Rawlings and Blue Moon have deep baseball roots creating the opportunity to bring the best in baseball and the best in beer together just in time for the summer season.”

“Partnering with Blue Moon for the summer baseball season made sense for Rawlings knowing the craft beer’s history and love for baseball,” Mark Kraemer, Director of Sports Marketing at Rawlings said. “Rawlings has been specializing in helmets for decades and we’re excited to create the nostalgia of ice cream in a mini helmet at a summer baseball game without even leaving their homes.”

Baseball fans can order the 21+ ice cream in a 2-pack for $49 to their homes from May 17-23 at hardscoop.com/products/blue-moon-home-run-twist, while supplies last.
