Where good news shines

Time for Denver’s best golfers to prove it.

Registration for the Men’s City Amateur Championship opens at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The tournament is June 15-16 at City Park Golf Course.

Players with handicaps of 2.4 or lower are eligible to register Wednesday. Registration for the flighted men’s championship — for players with 2.5 handicaps or higher — is Wednesday, May 29.

The entry fee for both is $275 and includes greens fees, a bucket of range balls and potential prize money. Registration is available at cityofdenvergolf.com.
