‘Summer concert series’ in Colorado takes first place on USA Today’s ’10Best’ ranking

Towns and cities all over the United States host outdoor concert series through the spring and summer, allowing concert-goers to enjoy diverse genres of music with the warm weather.

USA Today published their list of the best outdoor concert series across the U.S., and two Colorado concert series made the list.

USA Today’s 10Best is a readers’ choice awards program in which an expert panel nominates their picks for the best in destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do. Readers then vote to determine the winners.

Vail’s Hot Summer Nights took first place in the ‘best outdoor concert series’ ranking by USA Today’s 10Best. The free concert series occurs over the summer at the scenic Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. Eight bands will perform throughout the series. The Ford Amphitheater is the perfect place to bring a picnic, some camp chairs, and blankets and enjoy the music. Check out the schedule and artists performing here.

The Levitt Pavilion Denver Concert Series also made the top 10 list, ranking in eighth place. According to USA Today, the Levitt Pavilion concerts begin in May and run through October, featuring a variety of artists falling into many different genres. The event is free, but guests are encouraged to RSVP. Find the full schedule here.
