Golden Farmers Market returns with 70 vendors, food trucks, live music
Nothing says summer like local produce, and the annual Golden Farmers Market will not disappoint.
For more than 20 years the well-loved outdoor event, sponsored by the Golden Chamber of Commerce, has been a hub for local artisans and farmers.
Along with food trucks and live music, more than 70 vendors will sell homemade goods, vegetables, and crafts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through Oct. 5., closing only on July 27 for Buffalo Bill Days.
The market is located in Golden in the parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts, at the intersection of 10th Street and Illinois Street.
Parking in the area near the market is paid or by permit, according to the City of Golden’s website.
Organizers say the best way to beat parking problems is to take the market’s free shuttle from the CoorsTek parking lot at 10th & Ford streets.
Friendly dogs are welcome, as long as they are leashed and well-behaved in crowds.
The Golden Farmers Market welcomes SNAP Benefits and offers Double Up Food Bucks for Patrons.
