The Aurora Police Department is responding to a multi-vehicle crash that sent 11 individuals to the hospital on Sunday evening.

The crash was reported on South Parker Rd., near East Lehigh Ave., according to a post on X from the police department.

Officials said one vehicle crashed into multiple cars while it was driving down South Parker Rd. Speed is believed to be a factor, according to the post.

11 individuals were sent to the hospital as a result of the crash, including the adult driver and juvenile passenger of the initial vehicle. Police officials said the two suffered severe injuries.

Northbound Parker Rd. was closed from Quincy to Hampden for several hours but has since reopened.
