Investigation launched after body recovered from Chatfield Reservoir

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado Parks and Wildlife are conducting an investigation after a body was recovered from Chatfield Reservoir in Jefferson County early Tuesday morning.
South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a water rescue call at 8:25 a.m.

The identity of the deceased has not been released. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
