It’s official – Trey Parker and Matt Stone are set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.

The new selections were announced at a live press conference on Monday, June 24. The honorees were chosen from hundreds of nominations and ratified by the Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors on June 14.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone will receive their stars in the category of television. Parker and Stone are the creators and executive producers of the animated television series “South Park,” the second-longest-running animated series in American history.

Parker and Stone met while studying film at the University of Colorado Boulder. Now, they own a mansion in Steamboat Springs. Parker and Stone also purchased and restored the iconic Denver restaurant Casa Bonita.

Other Colorado celebrities with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame include Amy Adams, Tim Allen, Roseanne Barr, Ralph Edwards, and John Denver.
