Vehicle plunges into water at Colorado state park
A vehicle plunged into the water at Cherry Creek State Park on Tuesday, resulting in a rescue operation.
According to South Metro Fire Rescue, their crew was on the scene of the incident a bit after noon with the vehicle in the water near the West Boat Ramp at the reservoir.
Two drivers assisted with the help of the extraction of the vehicle. Ultimately, one person was transported from the scene with minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
The vehicle has since been pulled out of the water by 1st Class Towing.
