Denver weather: Another day of haze and smoke Wednesday

Denver is forecast for areas of smoke and haze Wednesday and hot highs in the 90s.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, sunny skies are in the forecast and a high of 95 degrees. Expect areas of smoke due to wildfires north and northwest of Colorado.

Looking ahead to Wednesday night, smoke is anticipated to linger. Expect mostly clear skies and a high of 64 degrees.

Temps will inch closer to the triple digits Thursday with showers expected Friday. A chance of showers will continue through Saturday before drying up Sunday.

Thursday: Expect sunny and hot conditions with a high of 98 degrees.

Friday: There’s a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Expect partly sunny skies and a high of 93 degrees.

Saturday: There’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast and a high of 94 degrees.

Sunday: Sunny and hot conditions and a high of 97 degrees.
