Motorcycle rider killed attempting stunts in northeast Colorado Springs
A motorcyclist was killed while attempting stunts in a parking lot in northeast Colorado Springs on Saturday, according to law enforcement officials.
The single-vehicle crash took place just before 10 p.m. in the parking lot of Floor and Décor, located at 6867 Crest Hill View, near Woodmen Road and Interstate 25, police said. Emergency responders found the rider dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation determined that the rider lost control while trying to do a stunt and hit a concrete retaining wall before ending up in a residential backyard.
The motorcyclist’s name was not released.
