Motorcyclist in critical condition following overnight crash in Colorado Springs

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after the rider crashed in the southeast part of Colorado Springs.

Police from the Gold Hill substation responded to the scene, at Murray Boulevard and Galley Road, around 2 a.m. on Saturday, police say. The crash only involved the motorcyclist, who was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation; speed, drugs or alcohol are not currently factors in the crash.
