Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles to bring gymnastics tour to Colorado

DENVER — Some of the best gymnastics in the world will embark on a live arena tour of the United States following the Paris Olympics.

Simone Biles will headline the “Gold Over America Tour” which will visit 30 arenas across the United States beginning Sept. 17.

The tour will make a stop at Ball Arena in Denver on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Organizers said the tour will be a pop concert-style spectacle that showcases the “athletic brilliance” and championship journeys of Biles and other athletes.

In addition to Biles, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Katelyn Ohashi, Peng-Peng Lee, Shilese Jones, Fred Richard, Mélanie Johanna De Jesus Dos Santos, Kayla Dicello, Evita Griskenas, and Casimir Schmidt will join the tour.

“We’ve put together an all-new show unlike anything that’s been staged before with gymnastics,” said Mark “Swany” Swanhart, director and creator. “Simone is one of the best collaborative partners I’ve ever worked with.”
