Aurora police are investigating a shooting of a 17-year-old boy allegedly shot by men on a motorcycle.

Officers responded to a shooting report around 11 p.m., Tuesday in the area of South Peoria Street and East Louisiana Avenue — in the Utah Park neighborhood — according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department.

A teenager had been shot while driving and was taken to a nearby hospital with “serious” injuries.

The victim told police two people were on a motorcycle and appeared to be following him, according to the release. He said one of the people riding on a motorcycle shot him while he was driving.

Detectives are investigating the incident and have not made any arrests as of Wednesday morning.
