Denver weather: Warm Saturday, early evening showers possible
Late-day storm chances continue through the weekend, with up and down afternoon highs.
Saturday, we’ll stay dry and warm through most of the afternoon, with scattered storms pushing into the front range by 5 or 6 p.m. We’ll watch for in and out storms through the evening, with showers becoming more isolated as they push eastward, into the northern plains. Most of Colorado will be under a marginal risk for severe weather, with gusty winds, locally-heavy downpours and lots of lightning and thunder being the biggest impacts.
Look for more afternoon and evening storms Sunday, with slightly cooler weather. Highs are expected to max out in the upper 80s (seasonal for this time of year), with another marginal risk for severe weather in-place.
Next week cooler weather is looking to settle in. Expect highs to likely peak in the 80s through next Friday. For precipitation, prepare for more afternoon storms Monday, ahead of a dry stretch of weather through the rest of the 7-day forecast.
