The new Broncos uniforms were a labor of love for team president Damani Leech.

“It’s not quite as much as your baby being born,” Leech said after the first preseason game. “But it was little bit like that seeing them out there running around.”

The Broncos are changing their look for the first time since 1997 with what they’ve dubbed the Mile High Collection. It includes nine primary uniform combinations — between orange (home), white (away) and navy (alternate) — in addition to navy (home/away) and white (alternate) helmets.

The Broncos will also wear a throwback orange uniform that pays tribute to the 1970s Orange Crush-era defense. Their blue helmets will feature the traditional ‘D’ logo.

“I think they’re beautiful,” Leech said. “It was really fun to see. It’ll be fun to see how it gets switched up. The players are driving which pants they wear each game. So, we’ll take their cues on that. … For the Raiders game, we’ll wear the throwbacks, and that’ll be really special.”

Plenty of Colorado-specific touches make the Broncos stand alone.

Uniforms have multiple references to the state’s high elevation. The number 5280 is featured on the helmet bumper and jersey neck tag. The helmet stripe is comprised of small triangles. One leg stripe is jagged, to symbolize mountains, and sleeves have a similar stripe design. The name font has changed as well with rounded interior corners.

Below is a breakdown for when the Broncos are expected to wear each combination for the 2024 season. The color of pants will be determined by players before game day.
