Colorado safety Shilo Sanders has surgery on arm, Deion Sanders says

Colorado safety Shilo Sanders underwent surgery Monday after sustaining an arm injury in Saturday’s loss at Nebraska, according to a social media post from CU coach Deion Sanders.

Deion Sanders had said in a halftime interview of the 28-10 defeat he believed his son suffered a broken forearm. CU has not announced a timetable for the safety’s return to the field.

Coach Prime posted two photos with his son in a hospital — one with Shilo in a wheelchair and arm sling, one with Shilo in a hospital bed.

Deion Sanders wrote: “God is Good! Can’t wait to see u back ready to go. Love ya son!”
