Mountain biker rescued on trail near Fraser

A mountain biker was rescued on the Flume Trail in Fraser on Saturday, according to Grand County Search and Rescue (GCSAR).

GCSAR, along with the Grand County Sheriff’s Office and Grand County EMS, responded around 10:40 a.m. on Saturday to an emergency of an injured mountain biker on Flume Trail.

The biker made it to the trailhead with the help of some bystanders, where they met the sheriff’s office and Grand County EMS. EMS provided the biker with the necessary medical care.

In a Facebook post, GCSAR writes that the rescue was possible because of the “quick response of local authorities and the selfless actions of bystanders.” GCSAR also expressed their appreciation to the bystanders and local community for their support during the incident.
