Commerce City police found a man dead behind a dumpster on Saturday, a discovery which authorities are calling a suspicious death.

Police said they found the body near E. 64th Avenue and Holly Street around 11 a.m.

In its release on social media platform X, police said detectives are “investigating a suspicious death.”

Authorities said there is currently no threat to the public.

The investigation remains ongoing.
