The Battle for the Golden Spike is upon the nation.

Colorado and Colorado State renew their volleyball rivalry with matches this week in Fort Collins (6 p.m. Thursday, MW Network) and Boulder (7 p.m. Friday, ESPN+).

The Golden Spike series stands at a 4-4 split since its induction in 2019. The teams split the series last season — with both Colorado (6-4, 0-0 Big 12) and Colorado State (3-5, 0-0 Mountain West) winning on the road.
