Skiers and riders, start making your plans now, for X Games Aspen is coming.

The X Games are returning to Aspen, Colorado for the 24th consecutive year in winter 2024-25, and the events list just dropped, X Games coordinators said in a statement Tuesday.

But before X Games Aspen jumps into action, the X Games Street Style Pro event invades Copper Mountain. In collaboration with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, the newly added competition happening Dec. 20-21 will award the winners from both the halfpipe and street style contests automatic invites to X Games Aspen 2025.

The X Games Street Style Pro at Copper Mountain will complement the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at the same venue. The X Games Street Style Pro will feature nighttime competitions and musical appearances, enhancing the daytime halfpipe events with a vibrant party atmosphere.

X Games said on the evening of Dec. 20, the Copper Mountain event will showcase emerging talent from the U.S. Revolution Tour and U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s development series, with athletes competing for a spot in the pro final on Dec. 21. Competitions will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. each evening, followed by a concert.

X Games Aspen will be held at Buttermilk Mountain with athletes competing in ski and snowboard events Jan. 23-25.

X Games Aspen 2025 will feature men’s and women’s ski and snowboard competitions in the disciplines of Superpipe, Slopestyle, Big Air, Knuckle Huck, and Street Style.

In addition to sporting events, X Games Aspen 2025 welcomes the return of special music appearances each night and performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets to X Games Aspen 2025 will be general admission and fans will have the option to upgrade their tickets with multiple hospitality options which include added perks and experiences.
