Paul Klee’s pick: Jets 17, Broncos 13

Sorry, I’m still reeling from the T-Wolves trading Karl-Anthony Towns to the Knicks. You know what that tells me? Minnesota, a roster that was custom-built to beat Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, no longer believes Denver is the primary threat in the West. Oh, right. Back to football. Mr. Discount Double-Check for the win.

Klee’s record: 2-1 overall

Chris Schmaedeke’s pick: Broncos 19, Jets 17

Bo Nix throws his first touchdown pass, Wil Lutz kicks four field goals and the Broncos win an ugly one. Denver is out to prove the Tampa Bay win was not a fluke and plays inspired football.

Schmaedeke’s record: 1-2 overall

Chris Tomasson’s pick: Jets 23, Broncos 20

Broncos coach Sean Payton, a year removed from his controversial comments to USA Today, said nothing but glowing things about the Jets during the week, leaving their bulletin board empty. But the Jets, who used Payton’s comments about offensive coordinator and former Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett as a rallying cry in a 31-21 win at Denver last year, don’t need such things any longer because they now have a healthy Aaron Rodgers.

Tomasson’s record: 2-1 overall

Mark Kiszla’s pick: Jets 24, Broncos 20

Who wins this game? I have absolutely no idea, as my record indicates. But here’s my bold prediction: Should the Broncos win this game, Sean Payton will relocate the team to the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia until construction on the new practice facility in Dove Valley is complete.

Kiszla’s record: 0-3 overall

Kyle Fredrickson’s pick: Jets 17, Broncos 13

It’s hard not to Bo-lieve in Nix after winning his first NFL game on the road in Tampa Bay. But the sample size is too small. Nix will find more difficulty in Week 4 playing a quality Jets defense that has more film on the rookie quarterback. The Broncos defense does its job on Sunday. The offense falls short.
