Police searching for 3 suspects in Arapahoe County attempted murder, robbery
The incident occurred at a 7-Eleven on Sept. 14.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for three suspects after an attempted murder and robbery occurred at a 7-Eleven earlier this month.
Deputies responded to a report of a robbery around 6 a.m. on Sept. 14 at the 7-Eleven store in the 1100 block of South Parker Road — just south of Aurora — according to a social media post by the sheriff’s office.
Three suspects arrived at the store in a silver Nissan Rogue without a license plate, the sheriff’s office said. Two of the three suspects then entered the store and began shoplifting items.
A clerk at the store chased the men outside. One suspect, wearing a white hoodie with a skeleton on it, pulled a handgun and fired at the clerk and missed.
The Nissan Rogue took off, heading northbound on South Parker Road.
The sheriff’s office is now asking for help in identifying the men.
If anyone has information regarding the incident, they are asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Callers may remain anonymous.
