Late night traffic holds on I-25 at Ridgegate Parkway starting tonight
Drivers can expect ten-minute holds for Xcel transmission line work.
Drivers on I-25 both north and southbound can expect traffic holds at RidgeGate Parkway (Exit 125) in Douglas County between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday-Thursday (Oct. 8 – 10) and again on Oct. 15 – 17 as Xcel Energy works on transmission lines.
The holds will be for up to 10 minutes. Depending on traffic it may take more time for traffic to clear once the Colorado Department of Transportation reopens a traffic lane. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass during closures.
The speed limit in the work zone will be reduced to 40 mph.
