President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are being briefed on Hurricane Milton, a Category 4 hurricane expected to make landfall Wednesday evening on Florida‘s Gulf Coast.

Millions have evacuated the Tampa Bay area, which has avoided a directed hurricane hit in 100 years.

Milton comes just weeks after Hurricane Helene hit the Florida panhandle, causing flooding, power outages, and deaths across Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia.
