UPDATE: The teen was located and is safe with family, according to Pueblo police.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 13-year-old Hispanic girl who was kidnapped Wednesday evening while inside a stolen truck out of Pueblo.

Sandra Mendoza last seen near the 1200 block of South Prairie Aveune in Pueblo at 5:10 p.m. Mendoza was in a 2005 F-250 truck when it was stolen by an unknown, Hispanic male.

Pueblo police reported the truck was recovered in the 1100 block of Cypress Street around 8:45 p.m., but the suspect and the kidnapped teen are still at large.

Mendoza was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans according to law enforcement. She is roughly 5’0″, weighs 100 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes
