Patchy fog swooped into metro Denver on Sunday morning.

Following a foggy Sunday morning, more than 400 flights were delayed out of Denver International Airport.

As of 7 p.m., airline and airport tracker site FlightAware showed a total 419 flights delayed throughout the day. Notably, those delays affected three major airlines.

Throughout Sunday, SkyWest saw 129 delays, while United Airlines experienced 116. Southwest Airlines had 83 delays. Other airlines saw between one and 37 delays (Frontier), including a United flight cancelation.

By 3 p.m., the number of delayed flights reached over 300.
