Denver police respond to 4 shootings Sunday morning, one fatal

Denver police responded to four shootings Sunday morning, resulting in at least three injuries and one death.

The Denver Police Department on Sunday morning responded to a total of four shootings in the jurisdiction.

As of Sunday morning, three people have been injured and one victim has died, according to posts from the department on social media platform X.

At 1:14 a.m., Denver police reported a shooting in the 1200 block of S. Shoshone St. One person was transported to a local hospital from the scene.

Just over an hour later around, police responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of Court Pl., where one person was transported to the hospital. The incident was reported at 2:38 a.m., according to DPD.

Roughly an hour later, police responded to a fatal shooting near the 1300 block of West Colfax Avenue. Police said a verbal altercation led to a shooting. A man at the scene was transported to the hospital, where he died later on Sunday morning, according to police.

At 7:44 a.m., police said a shooting happened near the 1100 block of N. Decatur St., where another person was transported to the hospital.

All shootings remain under DPD investigation.
