Where good news shines

Colorado State women’s basketball’s latest weekly award arrived Monday.

Kloe Froebe was named Mountain West freshman of the week after averaging 14.5 points and four rebounds as the Rams lost to BYU and beat Columbia College.

Froebe started both games and led the Rams with 14 points against BYU. The Illinois native then had 15 points and seven rebounds against Columbia College.

Colorado State’s Emma Ronsiek last week was named Mountain West player of the week.

Colorado State (3-1) next hosts Southern (Tuesday) and Northern Arizona (Saturday).
