A world-class musical line-up has made the Rendezvous Music Festival a beloved annual event, considered to be the unofficial close to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s winter season. The two-night free concert event will take place on the Teton Range from April 4-5, 2025. Among the performers: critically acclaimed country-folk artist Charles Wesley Godwin will take the stage in Jackson’s iconic Town Square on opening night, while The Avett Brothers, Grammy Award-nominated American folk rockers, will headline the closing night in Teton Village.

Alabama’s Southern soul sensations, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and rising country star Carter Faith will also bring their powerhouse performances to the stage. Additionally, to kick off the excitement, Blake and Disko Cowboy will light up Friday and Saturday with electrifying DJ sets to energize the crowd and set the perfect vibe for epic nights of music.

“Jackson Hole is thrilled to welcome The Avett Brothers and Charles Wesley Godwin as the headlining acts for the Rendezvous Music Festival, which serves as the perfect way to close out our winter season,” said Andrew Way, chief marketing officer at JHMR. “The festival combines world-class performers with a once-in-a-lifetime setting in Jackson Hole, and we look forward to celebrating our community with these amazing guests.”

About the artists

The widely recognized folk rock group, The Avett Brothers, are three-time Grammy Award nominees. Their 2009 major-label debut, “I and Love and You,” went certified gold and peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, and the namesake single was a coffee house staple across the nation and nominated for Song of the Year at the Americana Music Honors and Awards (from which the band won Duo/Group of the Year three times and garnered a lifetime achievement award in 2023). Their albums in 2012 (“The Carpenter”) and 2013 (“Maggie and the Dandelion”) charted in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200, while their 20116 album, “True Sadness” debuted at No. 1. Additionally, 2019’s “Closer Than Together” and 2020’s “The Third Gleam” each topped multiple Billboard charts. Through a history of nearly 25 years, the group, guided by brothers Scott and Seth Avett, have recorded 11 studio albums with an eclectic sound, the most recent self-titled of which was released this year.

West Virginian singer-songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin is a country-folk musician with soul. He has released three studio albums, all heavily influenced by the legendary likes of Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, John Prine, Chris Knight and Ryan Bingham. NPR has praised Godwin for his “cinematic country-folk that’s as gorgeous and ruggedly raw as his homeland.” The standout artist’s latest album, “Family Ties,” is deeply personal, reflecting on his journey through life and love, and lessons learned. His music is heartfelt and rich in history. He is currently touring in support of the record. This past summer, Godwin performed at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and has toured with Zach Bryan and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. In December, he will be a headliner at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry before appearing with The Avett Brothers in 2025.

Opening for the Avett Brothers on April 5, 2025, St. Paul & the Broken Bones – an eight-piece band led by vocalist Paul Janeway – came out of Birmingham, Alabama in 2011. Their 2014 debut, Half the City,” earned them critical acclaim, hitting No. 56 on the Billboard 200 chart and a No. 6 place on Billboard’s Adult Alternative chart for its featured hit single, “Call Me,” along with bookings at dynamic live shows like Lollapalooza, Coachella and Glastonbury. Since then, the group has been a mainstay on late night television, and their music has appeared in film and television shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Big Little Lies,” “Suits,” and “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Over the years their sound has evolved from classic soul to include elements of funk and disco. Their latest album, “Angels in Science Fiction,” released in 2023, pushes boundaries boundary even further, with a blend of psychedelia and experimental R&B.

Another rising country name coming to the stage in Jackson will be North Carolina native Carter Faith, who will open for Charles Wesley Godwin on April 4, 2025. Her voice soars as she tells stories in song, earning her the opportunity to share the stage with Little Big Town, Keith Urban, and country icon Willie Nelson. Her hits include “Wild,” “Greener Pastures,” and “Already Crazy.” Her fanbase continues to grow, thanks to the recent album release: “The Aftermath,” as well as a devoted fanbase! She recently toured in support of country star Luke Grimes.
