Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado took first place nationwide as the best cross-country ski resort in the U.S. The ranch features almost 75 miles of groomed trails in the Ranch Creek Valley and offers season and day passes for the Nordic trails. Beginners can take private lessons, and more advanced skiers can explore challenging trails.
The Breckenridge Nordic Center ranked seventh on the list.
