A missing persons report led the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office to discover the dead body of a woman Saturday night.

After receiving a missing person report at around 9 p.m., deputies responded to the 200 block of Ridge Road, located just west of Jamestown.

There, deputies found a dead 49-year-old woman, officials said.

“The circumstances surrounding the death appear suspicious,” Sheriff officials said in a news release.

Investigators on Sunday are speaking with two individuals affiliated with the woman, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will identify the woman and determine the cause and manner of death.

The woman’s death remains under Boulder County Sheriff investigation.

Sheriff’s officials added there is no ongoing threat to the public.
